Drinking and driving do not wise company make, but Lagunitas Brewing Company has created a captivating mix of these two American pastimes with their Google API-based virtual road trip CouchTrippin’ experience. 

Fans of the brewery enter to win a Lagunitas-fueled party in their town, and can then make a custom video that takes them on the CouchTrippin’ tour from its last stop in Austin to their own front door. 

The results: contest entry doubled from the previous year.
